Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the entire hardware design process for high power, high density Ethernet switches used in AI networks, from concept to production.
  • •Define and qualify components, perform schematic capture, and collaborate with eCAD teams on PCB layout and footprints.
  • •Lead signal integrity simulations for power and datapath signals and guide CAD/layout teams to optimize routing and stackup.
  • •Coordinate with contract manufacturers (CM) for prototyping through production, including lab bring-up and debugging of prototypes.
  • •Mentor engineers, train CM teams for high-yield testing, and drive cross-functional collaboration with software and test teams to deliver robust hardware solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •BE or ME in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electronics and Communication (EC); 10+ years of hardware engineering experience.
  • •Experience designing networking hardware, specifically 100G and 200G PAM4 Ethernet switching.
  • •Experience with high-layer PCB design (20+ layer boards) and advanced manufacturing technologies (HDI, sequential lamination, ultra-low-loss materials).
  • •Experience with multi-phase DC-DCs for high current, high transient loads and high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe).
  • •Ability to write specifications and schematics for complex boards and collaborate with CAD/design teams.
