Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and assist with BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets.
  • •Support procurement and subcontract management for fit-out packages, including bid comparisons, commercial evaluations, and purchase/subcontract work orders.
  • •Maintain cost control through project cost reports and commitment registers, monitoring budget vs. committed vs. actual vs. forecast and identifying cost overruns early.
  • •Identify, record, and monitor variations and change orders by reviewing instructions, preparing quantity measurements/rate build-ups, and supporting evaluation of variation claims.
  • •Support subcontractor payments and final accounts by checking interim payment applications, verifying quantities with site teams, and assisting with payment recommendations and final account resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • •2–4 years of relevant QS experience, preferably in fit-out, retail, commercial interiors, or construction.
  • •Good understanding of construction quantities, materials, and methods.
  • •Basic knowledge of subcontracting and commercial practices.
  • •Proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Planswift and/or measurement software.
