Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and develop an assigned team of Portfolio Managers, including performance, coaching, and career development.
  • •Oversee the deal lifecycle for new opportunities, including pre-screening and guiding deal execution with risk management.
  • •Evaluate complex transactions and recommend deals/structures balancing client needs with Key’s risk/return and asset quality.
  • •Ensure underwriting and documentation best practices are upheld, including accurate and timely risk ratings and consultation with team members.
  • •Coordinate quarterly/annual review workflows and, in some cases, directly manage a small portfolio of corporate credit client relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of commercial underwriting, credit banking, or financial services experience aligned to the specialty.
  • •Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in finance, accounting, economics, and/or business.
  • •Master’s Degree/MBA (preferred).
  • •Competence with Microsoft Office and ability to learn and utilize other technology applications.
  • •Extensive experience analyzing secured and unsecured corporate cash flow lending and building underwriting packages, including syndicated deals and complex legal documentation.
