Key Responsibilities

•Own technical accounting research and conclusions for new products, strategic transactions, and other novel or judgmental fact patterns, including drafting position papers and memos.
•Partner early with Product and Deal teams to understand proposed structures and identify accounting implications upfront.
•Evaluate emerging areas such as crypto/digital assets and new revenue arrangements where guidance is still developing, and document defensible conclusions.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, Finance, Financial Reporting, and others to integrate accounting conclusions consistently across statements, disclosures, and controls.
•Advise on accounting areas such as ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 350-60 digital assets, ASC 810 consolidation and VIE evaluation, and ASC 815 derivatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 116,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5-8 years of progressive experience in a technical accounting role.
•Public accounting experience; Big 4 or national firm experience preferred.
•Experience designing, implementing, and documenting technical accounting policies and procedures.
•Excellent knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including researching accounting literature and establishing positions and implementation procedures.
•Ability to interpret complex technical guidance and present accounting positions in written and verbal form.
