Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in a 12-week paid summer internship focused on applying classroom learning to real-world engineering challenges.
  • •Work with HP Imaging, Printing & Solutions (IPS) teams to support engineering efforts related to printing solutions.
  • •Contribute to project work across interest areas such as quality engineering, software development, systems engineering, embedded development, or hardware/mechanical/electrical engineering.
  • •Perform engineering tasks such as testing, troubleshooting, validation, and technical documentation as relevant to the assigned area.
  • •Deliver results in cross-functional settings, including networking/executive speakers, community involvement, and executive-level presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •3rd year of university completed or 1st year of Masters completed (technical degree specialization).
  • •No more than 24 months of prior work experience professionally related to the intern requisition (excluding internships, teaching assistance, research, or military).
  • •Able to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027 and not require sponsorship in the future.
  • •Preferred major/program: Computer Science (also Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechatronics Engineering, AI/Data Science).
  • •Demonstrated project experience with strong analytical, modeling, and research skills.
