Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement security measures to protect defence security classified information and sensitive commercial information.
  • •Manage an efficient, effective, and timely security service for internal and external customers.
  • •Liaise with Defence Security Authorities in all States.
  • •Ensure employees and contractors are security compliant with appropriate security clearances and maintain site/business security compliance.
  • •Respond to security incidents, escalate where needed, and assist with writing and implementing security procedures and work instructions; triage calls within the Security Service Desk.

Key Requirements

  • •Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Defence Security Clearance (essential).
  • •Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations (essential).
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong attention to detail, time management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • •Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a busy team environment.
  • •Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and previous experience in a similar role.
