Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and manage a portfolio of client accounts sized by complexity.
  • •Staff and restaff accounts with the right mix of billers and specialists as the book of business changes.
  • •Set and track production and quality targets; run regular production/quality reviews with Team Leads.
  • •Act as escalation point above Team Leads for claim, staffing, and client issues.
  • •Coach and develop Team Leads through 1-on-1s and performance conversations, including handling terminations.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of leadership experience, including meaningful time directly managing billing or RCM teams in healthcare RCM.
  • •Deep RCM domain knowledge in denial management, A/R aging, payer behavior, and reimbursement trends.
  • •Experience staffing and scaling a team to match a changing book of business.
  • •Experience managing offshore teams, including performance management across geographies.
  • •Experience leading PM systems (ModMed, NextGen, Athenahealth, or similar) and payer portals.
