Job Summary

Support the Credit Control function by managing customer and tenant receivables and debtor portfolios. Proactively monitor outstanding balances, drive timely debt collection, and negotiate payment plans with customers and tenants. Analyze delinquent accounts using aging reports and KPIs to reduce bad debt and improve Days Receivable Outstanding (DRO). Maintain accurate ERP records, collaborate with Finance, Leasing, Legal and Shared Services, and support month/quarter/year-end reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage an assigned portfolio of customer and tenant accounts, monitoring outstanding balances and driving timely debt collection.
•Contact customers and tenants via phone, email, and written correspondence to negotiate payments, resolve invoices, and agree on payment plans.
•Evaluate delinquent accounts, identify collection risks, and recommend recovery actions to minimize bad debt and Days Receivable Outstanding (DRO).
•Maintain accurate records of collection activities, debtor balances, reconciliations, and financial transactions within ERP and related systems.
•Prepare and analyze aging reports and collection performance, support month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing, and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis while collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve billing and collection issues.

Key Requirements

•4-5 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance, preferably in real estate, retail, or property management.
•Proven experience managing debtor portfolios, collections, account reconciliations, and customer or tenant receivables.
•Strong understanding of credit control processes, financial reporting, aging analysis, and cash collection principles.
•Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP or Yardi) with strong reporting and database management capabilities.
•Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
