Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate assigned projects by establishing schedules and project parameters, generating tasks/estimates/dependencies, and tracking milestones using CPM and histogram analysis.
  • •Collaborate with engineering to support programming and material selection activities tied to construction projects.
  • •Assist with establishing and maintaining an operations budget by revising estimates based on validated scope and monitoring cost-at-completion forecasts.
  • •Help prepare subcontractor RFQs, including scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of values.
  • •Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, owners, and internal teams about scope, budgets, performance, issues, and close-out needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the entire 12-week summer internship, with at least sophomore/2nd-year completion before the start date.
  • •Preferred degree in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or an equivalent program.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods through coursework, projects, related involvement, or hands-on exposure.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and be able to provide proof of insurance (no major/frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit & run, or reckless/careless driving in the past 3 years).
