Job Summary

Lead regulated water asset design projects for the municipal water sector, supporting AMP8 capital investment programmes across the UK and internationally. Own project delivery across health & safety, technical quality, schedule, and budget; manage multi-disciplinary teams and client relationships; and contribute to innovative digital and net-zero initiatives. Support bids, line-manage engineers and apprentices, and help grow the civil engineering team through recruitment and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

•Own project delivery across health & safety, technical quality, schedule, and budget.
•Manage multi-disciplinary teams and shape delivery of design services for water and wastewater schemes.
•Build client relationships to ensure project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
•Contribute to innovative approaches, digital products, and the Future Ready and Net Zero programme.
•Undertake bid preparation, resource and budget development, and line manage graduate engineers and degree apprentices.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Civil Engineering.
•Chartered status, or significant progression towards membership of the ICE or CIWEM.
•Experience managing engineering design teams with civil engineers and supporting disciplines.
•Experience delivering projects against an agreed budget and schedule.
•Client-facing experience and experience in technical approval/checking roles on linear civil infrastructure projects or industrial/process design.
