Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, compile, and analyze data from physical work sites, surveys, plans/blueprints/schematics, and other inspection matrices.
  • •Perform basic professional inspections to determine conformance of site conditions, equipment, construction, materials, and controls with codes, standards, and permits.
  • •Provide technical assistance for the inspection, construction, and functioning of buildings, highways, roads, bridges, structures, infrastructure, equipment, and mechanical systems.
  • •Verify load calculations, interpret contract plans/specifications, and support resolution of differences, errors, or technical problems via escalation.
  • •Generate documentation and specifications related to inspection findings using electronic systems, written/oral feedback, and photographic/diagram/spreadsheet reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •Minimum 9 years of relevant post-education experience with prior construction inspection experience.
  • •ACI certified and Arizona Technical Testing Institute (ATTI) Certification (or equivalent).
  • •Valid state driver’s license and strong knowledge of construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, and record-keeping requirements.
  • •Ability to perform analytical judgement, communicate effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
