Job Summary

Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to daily, weekly, and ad hoc cleaning schedules and ensure production areas are cleaned to required standards.
  • •Carry out scheduled daily tasks including high- and low-level general cleaning and deep cleaning of production areas.
  • •Clean processing equipment and production lines, including post-cleaning checks and correctly completing paperwork.
  • •Control stock of chemicals, consumables, and equipment; replenish consumable items and chemicals as per schedule.
  • •Remove and empty waste receptacles, sort/manage recycling and waste streams, and report incidents or environmental concerns.

Key Requirements

  • •Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and manual handling as required.
  • •Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • •Able to work under time pressure and manage a high workload.
  • •Good understanding of COSHH/chemical awareness and ability to follow set procedures and schedules.
  • •Level 2 Food Hygiene experience is advantageous (training will be provided).
