Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate and resolve high-impact integration issues by writing maintainable, tested code, deploying to production, and monitoring after release.
  • •Use a business-value-based prioritization model to understand and scope issue impact on Plaid clients and users, and help improve the model over time.
  • •Escalate to and work directly with data partners by diagnosing, packaging reproducible cases, and driving issues to resolution.
  • •Apply mitigation techniques to keep integration traffic flowing across internal tooling/configuration and external outreach.
  • •Own the integrations codebase through code reviews and handle escalations from internal teams; maintain the issue backlog with triage and periodic auditing, including occasional new integration builds and on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

  • •1.5+ years in a highly technical role such as software engineering, technical support engineering, or a similar hands-on function.
  • •Experience developing web services and APIs, or clients/integrations that interface with them.
  • •Strong troubleshooting/debugging instincts to investigate complex issues and drive them to root cause.
