Key Responsibilities

  • •Own mobile development tooling by defining architecture and roadmap for simulator/emulator setup, device orchestration, and iOS/Android CLI tools.
  • •Lead the mobile test automation framework for synthetic and integration testing across platforms, scoping cross-team problems and delivering multi-team projects.
  • •Set CI/CD quality gating strategy by proactively surfacing quality problems before they reach production.
  • •Consolidate fragmented mobile workflows by driving alignment across Native Infra, Cross Platform, and DevX to create a cohesive system.
  • •Mentor and grow the team by rallying mobile teams around shared ways of working and helping attract and assess mobile talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep expertise in at least one mobile platform: iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin), with working knowledge of the other and cross-platform experience.
  • •Hands-on production experience with React Native or a comparable cross-platform mobile framework at meaningful scale.
  • •Experience building or shaping a mobile test automation framework (synthetic, integration, or E2E) with evidence other teams adopted it.
  • •Background defining quality gating strategies or improving CI/CD pipelines, including mobile build systems, device farm integration, and fast feedback loops at scale.
  • •Track record scoping and delivering complex cross-team technical projects spanning multiple stakeholders and landing cleanly.
