Key Responsibilities

  • •Own communications strategy for Block’s lending and financial access initiatives across Square, Cash App, and Square Financial Services.
  • •Develop a cohesive corporate narrative connecting lending, banking, and financial institution initiatives across Block beyond individual product announcements.
  • •Partner with Square Financial Services, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Underwriting, Product, and business teams to develop communications strategies, executive messaging, and thought leadership.
  • •Build always-on storytelling campaigns featuring customer and seller stories that show how Block’s lending and financial products support business growth and access to capital.
  • •Support executive communications, media engagement, speaking opportunities, and key business milestones; ensure consistent external storytelling with Corporate Communications.
