Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as embedded risk and controls liaison for AI tooling/product delivery by identifying inherent risks and ensuring practical controls are designed into product delivery.
  • •Engage with Audit, Compliance, Data Privacy, Cyber, Legal, Model Risk and other control functions to secure guidance, challenge, and approvals for launching and operating features.
  • •Produce and maintain governance documentation and evidence (e.g., control mappings, risk assessments, governance updates, feature-level risk packs, launch readiness evidence).
  • •Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, and Customer Success to embed controls into backlogs and delivery processes so launches are compliant by design.
  • •Communicate risk position and control effectiveness, prepare reporting on risk/control metrics and governance deliverables, and drive continuous improvement to simplify and strengthen assurance.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in AI governance, risk management, compliance, legal, technology risk, or related control discipline, preferably in financial services or a complex global organization.
  • •Understanding of generative AI products in practice (e.g., LLM-enabled applications, prompt patterns, model safety, evaluation, limitations) and ability to reason about real user behavior for control design.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess novel situations using factual and qualitative information and drive proportionate risk outcomes.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • •Solid understanding of risk, compliance, and controls in digital products with awareness of cybersecurity and data privacy threats relevant to LLM applications and AI tooling.
