Key Responsibilities

  • •Support new machining center installations and/or existing machining production operations through configuration management, paperwork, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
  • •Perform troubleshooting and improvement activities.
  • •Apply systems and equipment expertise to resolve technical system and equipment issues in cooperation with other related disciplines.
  • •Interface effectively with clients, production and support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees.
  • •Work in a production environment and support required Conduct of Engineering/Operations/Maintenance activities for a nuclear regulated environment.

Key Requirements

  • •US citizen and at least 18 years of age, able to meet pre-employment requirements including required physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation for DOE clearance.
  • •ABET-accredited BS in an Engineering discipline plus 10+ years relevant professional experience, or an MS in a relevant Engineering discipline plus 7+ years relevant experience.
  • •Machining experience required.
  • •Ability to obtain/maintain a DOE Q clearance.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills and willingness to work in a production environment.
