Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide environmental compliance guidance to Operations, Technical, Reliability and Maintenance teams for three polyethylene units and associated utilities.
  • •Coordinate air and water permit strategy, including amendments and ensuring permit sampling and mitigation of water compliance threats.
  • •Lead environmental audits, conduct environmental review/approval for Management of Change, and ensure waste management procedures are followed.
  • •Maintain compliance records for emissions calculations and sustainability reporting; ensure Title V deviations are identified and properly classified.
  • •Serve in on-call rotation for environmental release reporting, respond to agency information requests, and implement requirements from Agreed Orders/Consent Decrees by deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year applicable engineering or science degree.
  • •Typically 4+ years of relevant environmental experience in chemical manufacturing or petroleum refining or environmental consulting.
  • •Demonstrated experience interacting with regulatory agencies.
  • •Ability to understand chemical manufacturing processes and equipment, with chemistry and math knowledge.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship.
