Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and system modifications on Thales In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems.
  • •Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize aircraft downtime and operational impact.
  • •Accurately document and clear airline logbook discrepancies related to Thales systems in a timely manner.
  • •Document maintenance activities daily using established procedures and submit detailed reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance.
  • •Ensure maintenance work follows company policies, procedures, FAA regulations, and internal quality procedures while supporting airline customers.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required, plus a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate and ability to meet experience requirements under 14 CFR 65.83.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer at the time of hire, and be eligible for the role without visa sponsorship.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain airport security credentials, including a SIDA badge, background check requirements, and a pre-employment drug test.
  • •Strong avionics/electronics knowledge to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams and perform crimping and soldering to aviation standards.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot issues of moderate scope, analyze data, and communicate technical information while working under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
