Job Summary

Develop and maintain quality management system procedures for a manufacturing plant, providing daily quality engineering support when issues arise. Analyze defects and manufacturing KPIs, participate in cross-functional quality processes (MRB, deviations, NCMs), and help drive root-cause corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving tools. Sustain continuous improvement and communicate quality issues and trends across internal teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, implement, administer, and maintain applicable quality management system procedures and instructions.
•Provide daily quality engineering support in the manufacturing plant and represent quality at MDI and SQDIP meetings.
•Perform trend analysis of manufacturing plant defects and produce KPI charts and reports.
•Participate in MRB, deviations, and NCM processes and provide input to disposition decisions for non-conforming products.
•Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to investigate root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving tools.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technologies.
•Minimum 5 years Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment supporting the factory shop floor.
•Experience understanding and improving a QMS in an ISO or similarly controlled environment.
•Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and using measurement equipment to assess root causes related to design, tolerancing, and supplier performance.
•Experience with quality tools/methods for sustainable improvements, including working knowledge of APQP principles.
