Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical and managerial leadership for fire and life safety projects across the region.
  • •Consult on the selection and design of fire and life safety systems, including detection and alarm systems, water-based suppression, clean agent extinguishing, smoke control, and passive fire protection.
  • •Ensure compliance with Saudi and international codes through audits and inspections.
  • •Direct fire risk assessments and hazard analyses, developing mitigation strategies for high-profile projects.
  • •Oversee testing and commissioning, serve as primary client point of contact, coordinate with stakeholders and authorities, and mentor consultants while supporting business development and thought leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architecture, or related).
  • •12–15 years of experience in fire life safety/protection engineering consulting, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • •Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC 201 and SBC 801) plus international codes and standards (UAE, IBC, NFPA, BS, and others).
  • •Proven expertise in fire protection design, fire detection and alarm systems, smoke control systems, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
  • •Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills; professional license/certifications (PE, CEng, CFPS or equivalent) are highly desirable.
