Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons; differentiate teaching to support every pupil’s academic and personal development.
  • •Create and maintain a stimulating, orderly learning environment with strong classroom culture and expectations.
  • •Use formative and summative assessment to recognise achievement, inform planning, and accelerate progress.
  • •Contribute to curriculum design and continual refinement aligned to international and national frameworks; deliver feedback and maintain records of achievement.
  • •Provide pastoral care and uphold safeguarding and child protection standards, including proactive, sensitive communication with parents and House-system involvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate degree plus UK PGCE or other teaching qualification that gives QTS.
  • •Minimum three years of teaching experience and familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels.
  • •A clean criminal record check, including an International Child Protection Check (ICPC) from the UK or appropriate police and other checks from relevant countries of residence/work.
  • •A proven commitment to safeguarding children and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
  • •Preferably prior teaching experience in leading independent schools.
