Job Summary

Lead and mentor a team of 2-4 Sourcing Coordinators while running daily sourcing operations and driving sourcing performance against KPIs and targets. Serve as a hands-on player-coach for the most complex, time-sensitive manufacturing orders—negotiating pricing, lead times, and capacity trade-offs, resolving re-quotes, and collaborating with Sales, Manufacturing, and Customer Service. Continuously improve sourcing processes and strategies for difficult-to-place work.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, mentor, and support a team of 2-4 Sourcing Coordinators, overseeing daily sourcing operations to ensure efficient order processing.
•Monitor sourcing KPIs (including margin and sourcing SLA) and execute strategies to improve team productivity while being accountable for sourcing targets.
•Personally call, negotiate with, and place orders with manufacturing partners for the most complex and time-sensitive orders, including pricing, lead times, and capacity trade-offs.
•Triage orders by identifying manufacturing and quoting issues (e.g., tolerances, design limitations, material availability) and implement alternative sourcing strategies for difficult orders.
•Own resolution of problem orders requiring re-quotes, aligning with Sales on pricing, scope, and customer communication; collaborate cross-functionally to develop recovery strategies and drive continuous process improvements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
•8+ years of professional experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, or project management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
•3+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
•Proficiency in computer skills, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and basic internet navigation.
