Job Summary

Provide high-level technical guidance for multi-site and multi-phase due diligence, design, development, building, testing, and inspection of mechanical systems across infrastructure and construction projects. Apply mechanical engineering expertise to analyze site conditions, develop plans and specifications, coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with codes and permits, and support installation and operational optimization for HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and automatic temperature control systems.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze data from physical work sites, surveys, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support design and construction.
•Apply mechanical engineering techniques across project phases, including concept development, preliminary and final design, procurement, construction, and operation.
•Design and specify construction and installation plans, including safety and phasing plans, cost estimates, and infrastructure layout updates with coordination across teams.
•Perform research, inspections, and investigations to verify site conditions and determine conformance with rules, standards, and construction or operating permits.
•Oversee cross-functional teams and coordinate review/approval of installation design plans, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering (or closely related discipline).
•7 to 10 years of relevant post-education engineering experience with prior mechanical design experience.
•Engineer license required.
•Extensive knowledge of building and infrastructure design and construction management across rehabilitation and new build projects.
•Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, including strong skills in technical calculations and planning/inspections.
