Key Responsibilities

  • •Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills including scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, and mixing procedures.
  • •Perform all agronomy/seed operations and monitor and maintain quality of inventory.
  • •Regulate and perform periodic housecleaning processes and record keeping.
  • •Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, and trucks.
  • •Provide excellent customer service, assist customers as needed, and work in an environment compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policy.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture-related degree program.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • •Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
  • •Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
  • •CDL license is preferred; forklift certification is preferred.
