Key Responsibilities

  • •Demonstrate and promote Splunk products and services to customers on-site, remotely via webinars, and at field events.
  • •Act as an expert on Splunk technology and applications, providing product feedback to cross-functional teams.
  • •Synthesize discovery and research to articulate Splunk’s value and recommend targeted solutions for customer needs.
  • •Develop and deliver presentations mapping the customer journey to Splunk use case roadmap.
  • •Respond to RFPs/RFIs and lead or participate in Proof of Concept/Proof of Value events from event setup through final presentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficient presales/technical sales experience in a software vendor environment with validated technical software sales results.
  • •Skilled in customer discovery to understand goals and challenges and demonstrate how Splunk solutions address them.
  • •Proficient in responding to RFIs/RFPs, including positioning Splunk against competitors.
  • •Ability to provide hands-on Splunk demonstrations and technical leadership while independently identifying and mitigating account technical issues and risks.
  • •Willingness and ability to travel to engage with partners, prospects, and customers in person as needed.
