Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret manufacturing information documents to mechanically assemble, fit, install, and modify prefabricated parts and components using hand and power tools.
  • •Read and interpret drawings while ensuring assembly bill of material accuracy; resolve part discrepancies with the supervisor and escalate drawing concerns.
  • •Perform repairs and modifications for errors detected through test/inspection, and maintain compliance to CSA and UL code.
  • •Maintain internal KANBAN accuracy and apply consistent assembly methods for units on the same order.
  • •Conduct visual inspections against drawings/specifications, check completed components to meet quality standards, clean units for testing, and perform pack and ship duties.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment or six months of assembly experience.
  • •Completed High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • •Must currently reside within 80 KM of Milton, ON.
  • •Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • •Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics (and experience in assembly or repair is preferred).
