Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and present Mechanical Development Plans, Design Scheme Data Packs, and other engineering detail for internal and customer review.
  • •Peer check work of mechanical engineers, including designs, design data, hand calculations, and technical reports.
  • •Chair design review panels at functional and project levels, both internal and customer facing.
  • •Prepare project plans; direct team implementation and monitor/report progress and spend against agreed budgets.
  • •Devise and maintain resource plans and manage allocation of Mechanical Engineering resources to meet project demands.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 65,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or related) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
  • •Proven track record of product development from concept through to production in an engineering environment.
  • •Previous team leading and/or project management experience.
  • •Competence in CAD tools to prepare design models, ideally CREO CAD.
  • •Experience with TeamCenter, DOORs and JIRA (advantageous).
