Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor execution of HSE activities on the project to ensure requirements are met per the project HSE plan and HSEMS; continually observe site HSE conditions.
  • •Develop and implement field emergency response procedures and evacuation plans, and ensure employee and visitor/supplier inductions are effective with logs maintained.
  • •Ensure hazards and unsafe conditions/practices are identified daily via observations, with corrective measures recorded and violations addressed with recommendations.
  • •Prepare, communicate, and ensure written risk assessments are developed for each task before work begins and shared with concerned personnel daily.
  • •Run safety trainings (including incident prevention and first aid), lead daily toolbox talks, and ensure inspections/records for mobile plant/equipment, HSE gear, fire extinguishers, and site equipment are completed and logged; provide daily/weekly/monthly HSE reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years working experience, with 3 years relevant HSE experience; 2 years GCC experience is a plus.
  • •Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses and developing mitigation strategies.
  • •Ability to investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Develop and deliver HSE training programs and initiatives to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • •ERP knowledge with preferred SAP functional skills to support the role.
