  • •Design and implement backend and infrastructure in collaboration with the team.
  • •Collaborate with engineers and designers to build a user-friendly platform that meets customers’ needs.
  • •Define and execute the technical roadmap for the platform, balancing technical debt and innovation.
  • •Invent, extend, and maintain development processes, tools, and workflows.
  • •Decompose large problems into concrete deliverables and milestones and deliver against the plan.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • •5+ years backend engineering experience building scalable web applications
  • •Strong proficiency in Python, and familiarity with a Python backend framework (FastAPI)
  • •Experience with AWS and knowledge of AWS cost and billing is a plus
  • •Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres and Dynamo) and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
