Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, optimize, verify, and validate clinical-grade NGS-based assay technologies for DNA (genome-wide and targeted).
  • •Lead and plan mission-critical experiments, owning scientific strategy, experimental design, timelines, execution, and delivery.
  • •Design and execute experiments, analyze data, generate documentation and presentations, and present results cross-functionally.
  • •Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and drive process improvements to assay performance and laboratory workflows.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to transition development protocols into clinical production, including automation, validation experiments, and SOP development while applying cGLP/cGDP.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or related field with at least 4 years of professional life sciences experience, or a BS/MS with at least 10 years of experience.
  • •Experience designing and leading verification/validation studies for IVD assays in a regulated clinical laboratory (GLP).
  • •Extensive hands-on experience with NGS-based automated assay development (extraction, library prep, target capture, sequencing) using automated platforms/liquid handlers.
  • •Hands-on nucleic acid workflows including DNA/RNA extraction and purification, PCR, qPCR, Qubit, Fragment Analyzer, Tapestation, with ctDNA/cfDNA as an analyte.
  • •Proven independent experiment execution with data analysis and effective scientific presentations, plus strong communication and attention to detail.
