Job Summary

Lead electrical engineering scope delivery across all project phases, providing technical leadership, coordinating with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring designs meet project requirements, codes, and owner standards while managing risk and schedule for a Malaysia-based LNG/ Refinery/ Petrochemical project.

Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Overall operation of the Electrical Specialists group within the project with high quality and timely completion of their work.
•Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, specifications, procedures, etc.
•Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures and standards.
•Adherence to Wood Procedure / Work Instruction for design safety and ensuring safety considerations are reviewed by authorised engineers.
•Review & implement lessons learnt from other projects.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in LNG / Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / Pharmaceutical Plant Projects.
•Knowledge of electrical power systems, conversant with international codes and standards of electrical power systems.
•Familiar with PC based softwares for electrical system studies/calculations such as ETAP, SKM etc…
•Self-motivated, self-reliant, energetic, taking proactive measures.
•Able to lead, motivate & guide a team comprising of Engineers & Designers.
