•Lead database platform initiatives for exceptional availability and petabyte-scale performance.
•Architect cloud-native data solutions across multi-cloud environments and design automated database operations via infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
•Establish enterprise-grade security protocols and access controls, and build monitoring/observability solutions for mission-critical systems.
•Perform advanced performance optimization, lead incident response, and consult product engineering teams on application resiliency design.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field plus 6 years’ experience in the role or related occupation.
•Employer accepts a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) plus 9 years’ experience in the role or related occupation.
•6+ years of end-to-end MS SQL Server administration (v2008–2025), including TDE/TLS, performance tuning, and advanced T-SQL for high-concurrency environments.
•6+ years administering MySQL (v5.6–8.4) on Linux with XtraDB Cluster, Oracle GoldenGate, and automated SSL rotation.
•6+ years each in high availability/DR and database designing, plus automation/DevOps and cloud/infrastructure experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible; Azure SQL and GCP Cloud SQL).
