Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply advanced technical expertise and diagnostic protocols to resolve standard to highly complex system-level issues, including identifying, documenting, and escalating customer issues to engineering teams as appropriate.
  • •Communicate procedural and technical issues to internal and external customers, using a closed-loop approach for status updates and sharing acquired knowledge to support problem resolution.
  • •Use judgment and technical knowledge to recommend solutions; identify, document, and report design, reliability, and maintenance issues and mobilize stakeholders to take action.
  • •Lead problem recreation and failure analysis for system-level issues, using test equipment and diagnostic tools to support problem resolution and providing documentation and feedback to other technical teams.
  • •Monitor and track service calls, provide regular call status updates via call tracking databases, recommend process improvements, and regularly submit content to the knowledge database.

Salary: EUR 67,150 - 86,900

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years of previous experience in a Technical Support role (2nd or 3rd level support).
  • •Strong Linux skills and solid Fibre Channel and IP networking skills.
  • •Detailed knowledge of VMware, NFS, CIFS, HDFS, S3, OpenStack swift, and Python scripting (Python scripting is an advantage).
  • •Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • •Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including providing technical lead support to more junior team members.
