Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
  • •Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
  • •Facilitate a positive client experience by creating a conducive environment.
  • •Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
  • •Create a learning environment that builds staff competence and ensure stock/equipment is accurately charted.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse OR a 4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing.
  • •Basic life support trained, including ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (for specialised wards).
  • •Ability to develop and modify a nursing care plan.
  • •Knowledge of infection prevention and control and nursing processes and procedures.
  • •Competence in nursing record keeping and patient assessment.
