Job Summary

Diagnose, adjust, and repair plant equipment to keep quarry and aggregate operations running safely and efficiently. Operate heavy off-road equipment (including water, quarry, stock, and truck equipment), dismantle and reassemble components using hoists and hand tools, and perform inspections, testing, and routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes. Follow Environmental, Health & Safety procedures while supporting continuous plant operations through training provided by Dolomite.

Key Responsibilities

•Diagnose, adjust, and repair plant equipment; dismantle and reassemble heavy components using hoists and hand tools.
•Operate and inspect off-road heavy equipment to diagnose defects and repair/replace damaged parts.
•Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and materials using trucks and related equipment; operate quarry-related systems like crushers and conveyors.
•Test repaired/assembled mechanical products and examine parts for damage or wear using micrometers and gauges.
•Perform routine maintenance (oil, filters, oil samples, lubrication) and follow Environmental, Health & Safety procedures.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED (preferred).
•Mechanically inclined; previous mining experience preferred (training provided).
