Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage all mechanical activities for assigned projects, including pre-construction, phased construction, closeout coordination, commissioning, start-up, occupancy, and warranty enforcement.
  • •Act as the primary mechanical point of contact between the client, GC’s, EPC’s, AECOM staff, and project stakeholders.
  • •Oversee installation and field verification of mission-critical mechanical systems (e.g., chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, dry coolers, coolant piping and pumps, air handling equipment).
  • •Coordinate mechanical milestones with electrical, civil, architectural, and commissioning teams, ensuring alignment with design, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • •Monitor construction progress and documentation (RFI and submittal validation/logging) and coordinate meetings and project controls documentation; review pay applications and support commissioning activities/turnover.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education).
  • •Preferred: 15 years in Construction.
  • •PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification.
  • •Experience managing large-scale industrial, mission-critical or data center projects and mechanical scopes exceeding $100M in construction value.
  • •Knowledge of MEP systems (electrical distribution, cooling infrastructure, critical facility operations) plus familiarity with commissioning processes and operational readiness planning/execution.
