Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow standard operating instructions/procedures across all operator areas, including batching and pelleting flushing procedures and record keeping.
  • •Operate all equipment/tools used in the mill areas (e.g., grinders, computer, forklift).
  • •Prepare and maintain shift activity reports and track production, sampling, bag dump reports, and reconciliations.
  • •Regulate flow of materials and observe processes to ensure attainment of specified products; maintain daily feed, bulk, and micro-ingredient inventory.
  • •Support safety and compliance by maintaining housekeeping, complying with environmental laws and company IPS/EMS policies, reporting environmental issues, and maintaining ISO22000 feed safety and quality compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • •Ability to read and understand safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • •Ability to recognize critical areas of the mill control feed/ingredient system.
  • •Must be able to work an average of 50 hour weeks, including night, holiday, and weekend when required.
  • •Ability to read and speak English; basic computer skills desired.
