Job Summary

Plan and manage multi-disciplinary construction schedules for industrial and science projects in Penang. Coordinate with owners, global supply management and contractors, perform schedule risk analyses, define critical paths, and produce KPI reports and lookahead schedules to mitigate delays. Lead planning sessions, enforce change controls, and consolidate progress for management reviews using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage multi-disciplinary construction project schedules including design, engineering, construction, Commissioning and integration of contractor’s schedule
•Partner with key stakeholders including facility owners and global supply management and site construction contractors, etc to look for pull in opportunities
•Work directly with schedulers from GC/design-build teams to evaluate and monitor schedule risks using Earned Value Method (S curve) Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)
•Define and analyze project critical paths across all schedules and project stages and produce reports, KPI metrics, float trends, lookahead reports
•Facilitate interactive planning and schedule review sessions with the project team and stakeholders to mitigate schedule delays

Key Requirements

•Degree qualifications in project management, engineering or similar function.
•Minimum 10 years’ experience in scheduling and project planning.
•Proficient in Primavera P6 software and overall schedule understanding.
•In-depth knowledge of construction sequences of data centres (CSA and MEP).
•Fluent in spoken and written English
