Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the System Architecture and Design of the spacecraft ADCS architecture, including sensors, actuators, reaction wheels, magnetorquers, and control algorithms
  • •Design and implement advanced ADCS algorithms to support various pointing modes and attitude control scenarios
  • •Perform detailed sensor/actuator characterization, modeling, and simulation to predict system performance and validate designs
  • •Specify, evaluate, and integrate ADCS components (reaction wheels, magnetorquers, star trackers, IMUs, sun sensors) and ensure subsystem interaction
  • •Develop and execute hardware-in-the-loop tests, ground-based simulations, and in-orbit commissioning to validate ADCS performance and troubleshoot issues

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • •2-5 years of hands-on experience in spacecraft attitude determination and control (ADCS)
  • •Strong knowledge of ADCS components and systems (IMUs, magnetometers, star trackers, reaction wheels, magnetorquers)
  • •Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems; experience with Python and MATLAB for simulation/data processing; Git experience
  • •Solid understanding of closed-loop control systems, orbital mechanics, and spacecraft dynamics
