Job Summary

Lead executive and employee communications across JAPAC, translating global intent into locally resonant, culturally appropriate narratives. Partner with JAPAC executive leadership and the Global Employee Brand & Communications team to develop strategies, operating rhythms, and always-on engagement. Oversee Japan communications for culturally appropriate localisation and leadership engagement, guide crisis/rapid-response messaging, and build best-in-class governance, toolkits, and internal channels across digital, social, live, and hybrid formats.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and execute executive communications for the JAPAC President and senior leaders, shaping consistent narratives across channels, events, change, and crisis moments.
•Own the vision, strategy, and delivery of employee communications across JAPAC, translating global priorities into regionally coherent, locally meaningful programs.
•Provide strategic oversight for Japan employee communications, ensuring culturally appropriate localisation, sequencing, and leadership engagement aligned to regional narratives.
•Serve as a trusted communications advisor to JAPAC leaders and cross-functional partners, influencing outcomes in a matrixed organization without direct authority.
•Oversee internal communications across digital, social, live, and hybrid formats; establish best-in-class practices, governance, and scalable operating models with toolkits and frameworks.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience leading executive and employee communications across multiple JAPAC markets, including direct experience working with Japan.
•Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners across cultures and geographies with strong executive presence.
•Demonstrated capability to navigate multi-jurisdictional complexity, including sensitive topics such as compensation, benefits, employee relations, and change.
•Strong ability to move between strategy and hands-on execution.
•Experience leading or advising on crisis and rapid-response communications, with deep understanding of internal communication channels.
