Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead full lifecycle development of integrations connecting the Mark43 platform with external systems (e.g., 911 call centers, state databases, evidence systems).
  • •Drive architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable solutions across REST APIs, message queues, and event-driven workflows.
  • •Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and partner teams to define reliable API contracts and integration patterns.
  • •Elevate coding standards and code reviews across the integrations team.
  • •Contribute to integration testing strategies, observability dashboards, and monitoring of data flows.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend services, distributed systems, and system integrations.
  • •Proven ability designing and operating APIs, webhooks, or asynchronous messaging systems
  • •Experience with Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, RESTful services, SQL/MySQL, and data pipelines
  • •Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional partners
