Key Responsibilities

  • •Design roadway lighting, rail tunnel lighting, and traffic signal systems aligned with applicable standards and project specifications.
  • •Perform photometric analysis, lighting calculations, and system circuit design.
  • •Conduct voltage drops calculations and prepare wiring and connection diagrams.
  • •Develop high-quality contractual deliverables in accordance with CADD requirements and design directives.
  • •Review existing conditions, drawings, and specifications; coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve interface issues and present design concepts.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary diploma or degree in engineering, design, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum two years of relevant experience in lighting design or similar technical environments.
  • •Knowledge of roadway lighting, rail tunnel lighting, and traffic signal design requirements.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, and AGI32.
  • •Familiarity with TTC/Metrolinx CADD standards and ESA/CSA codes and standards.
