Key Responsibilities

  • •Own timely production of the Bank team’s presentations and marketing materials.
  • •Oversee onshore and offshore Credit Analytics processes and act as liaison between Front Office and local Credit Risk Management teams.
  • •Handle documentation requests (e.g., ISDA, CSA, MRA), manage income forecasting and tracking tools, and drive full client planning packs.
  • •Perform analytics and research for idea generation and proactively monitor emerging news, opportunities, and threats.
  • •Act as primary desk contact for modeling and submitting documentation to deal committees (e.g., CAC) and represent the coverage team on KYC/AML due diligence points; back up the Global Relationship Banker.

Key Requirements

  • •Generalist Investment Banking/Corporate Finance background, with relevant sector experience a plus.
  • •Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including understanding and anticipating financial and non-financial risks (AML, Sanctions, AB&C).
  • •Ability to model transactions using internal modeling tools, with cash flow modeling and valuation analysis preferred.
  • •Strong understanding of financial markets and knowledge of KYC/AML procedures.
  • •General understanding of HSBC product suite (cash, custody, asset finance, lending, trade finance, capital markets) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
