Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, maintain, and improve the Data Platform used by everyone at Alan.
  • •Enable Alan’s data-driven operations and help colleagues make effective use of data.
  • •Partner across teams to understand needs and build trusted data solutions.
  • •Own and manage data-related tools and foundations, including security, governance, and data quality.
  • •Improve developer experience and support secure, reliable access to the data warehouse for teams and AI agents.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years demonstrating impact in data roles (early-career to highly experienced profiles welcome).
  • •Experience building and operating production data infrastructure, including orchestration (Airflow or similar), a cloud data warehouse, and infrastructure as code.
  • •Experience designing systems, tools, or libraries used by other engineers, scientists, or analysts.
  • •Proficiency in Python and SQL with a high standard of rigor and precision.
  • •Ability to work with AI thoughtfully to increase impact, plus strong listening and communication skills.
