Job Summary

Support engineering die maintenance and inspection by performing visual checks and operating 3D scanning equipment. Own the die inspection process, communicate tooling condition and status, and produce detailed technical reports including test procedures and maintenance records. Collaborate with engineers to discuss requirements and process improvements while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols. Maintain tooling and equipment inventories and help recommend new equipment when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform die inspection, including visual inspection and operating 3D scanning equipment.
•Own and manage the die inspection process; serve as the primary resource on tooling condition and status.
•Prepare accurate technical documentation such as test procedures, equipment specifications, and maintenance records.
•Collaborate with engineers to discuss project requirements, progress, challenges, and suggest process improvements.
•Adhere to quality standards and safety protocols; identify and report safety hazards and manage 3D scanning equipment and software functionality.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience as an Engineering Die Technician (or similar) with hands-on technical work.
•Proficiency using engineering tools, equipment, and software for data collection and analysis.
•Knowledge of engineering principles and methodologies, including drawing interpretation and GD&T.
•Familiarity with machining processes; ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
•1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; above-average Microsoft Office knowledge (especially Excel).
