Job Summary

Senior pre-sales Solutions Engineer responsible for leading technical engagements in complex enterprise sales cycles, delivering tailored product demonstrations, guiding PoCs and workshops, staying current on Atlassian roadmaps, and collaborating with sales, accounts and product teams to drive transformation deals. Must be fluent in German and English and comfortable engaging with executive leadership in a consultative, solutions-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct thorough customer discovery to assess challenges, business goals, and technical requirements, uncovering opportunities for cross-product and solution expansion aligned with Atlassian’s offerings.
•Deliver tailored, engaging product demonstrations that address customer objections, connect technical capabilities to business needs, and use storytelling techniques to align with the customer’s vision of success.
•Develop proof-of-concept environments and lead interactive workshops to showcase product features, workflows, and hands-on solutions aligned with customer goals.
•Collaborate with internal teams, account managers, and product stakeholders to drive transformation deals, identify growth opportunities, and ensure seamless communication and alignment with customer objectives.
•Be fluent in German and English and build a robust understanding of competitors’ offerings to articulate Atlassian’s differentiators in competitive scenarios.

Key Requirements

•Experience in sales engineering, covering large enterprise or strategic accounts.
•Experience communicating and presenting to senior stakeholders across various levels of an organization, including executive leadership.
•You're proactive, collaborative, and thrive in a solutions-oriented environment; passive roles are not a fit.
•Outstanding communication skills across oral, written, and presentation formats, with ability to build lasting relationships.
•Be fluent in German and English; willing to travel occasionally.
