Key Responsibilities

  • •Build agentic features, designing chat affordances, ambient agents, and tools models can call, using coding agents heavily.
  • •Create and evolve data models and interfaces used by advisors, owning features end to end from customer idea to delivery.
  • •Use and maintain common conventions for data modeling, GraphQL, and component architecture, and know when to break patterns.
  • •Learn the estate-planning domain with the wealth strategies team and help translate complex concepts into product behavior.
  • •Work closely with experienced product designers to turn tax and legal concepts into advisor-ready experiences for live meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of software engineering experience at companies with strong engineering practices, ideally startups.
  • •Comfort building across the stack, including data modeling in Postgres and product functionality in Go.
  • •Experience building interfaces in React and TypeScript, and familiarity with web/cloud applications and complex data models.
  • •Familiarity with React, TypeScript, GraphQL (Apollo), Playwright, Go, Postgres, and Temporal; curiosity substitutes for experience.
  • •Product-minded communication—watch customers use the app, form opinions on what they need, and communicate clearly with a largely remote team.
