  • •Build scalable power-flow modeling software for real-time or near-real-time operational contexts.

  • •Run, tune, and debug balanced and unbalanced load flows.
  • •Develop state (DC + AC) and network parameter estimation workflows (e.g., impedances, phasing, and mapping) and help formulate network constraints as optimization problems.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep experience with AC optimal power flow (AC-OPF) including state/parameter estimation for energy networks, using packages such as OpenDSS, pandapower and/or lf-energy.
  • •5+ years in data science, electrical engineering, or optimization roles with demonstrated impact.
  • •Strong statistical modeling, numerical programming, and data analysis fundamentals.
  • •Software engineering capability in Python for power flow algorithms and data analysis, including system design, version control, testing, code review, and CI/CD.
  • •Experience tuning/debugging power flow outputs against real-world observations (SCADA and/or smart meters).
