Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the product vision and roadmap for the Operational Data Platform, covering low-latency creation, transport, storage, and availability for downstream analytics.
  • •Drive the squad’s cost-efficiency roadmap and own cost savings as a core KPI.
  • •Own reliability for critical-path systems, setting uptime targets and feeding incident learnings back into the roadmap.
  • •Champion data-contract and schema standards with data-producing engineering teams to improve downstream data quality from day one.
  • •Serve as the primary interface between the Operational Data Platform and data producers, translating their needs into roadmap priorities while defining, tracking, and reporting squad KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a Product Manager with grounding in data infrastructure, data engineering, or backend platforms, including streaming/messaging and database concepts.
  • •Familiarity with event streaming and relational/NoSQL databases, able to partner credibly with engineers on technical trade-offs.
  • •Track record owning roadmap and KPIs for a single team, defining metrics such as cost, reliability, or data quality and driving them to targets.
  • •Use data to inform prioritization and roadmap decisions, with an expanding toolkit for improving quantity/quality and openness to senior guidance.
  • •Strong collaboration and clear written/verbal communication with engineering leads and stakeholders; pragmatic, execution-oriented approach in production environments.
